SHORT BIO
Nadia Santoro made her debut with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra as First Pianist in Saint-Saëns's The Carnival of the Animals under the baton of Maestro Robert Franz. She has enjoyed a number of opportunities to perform solo piano works in masterclasses of esteemed artists such as Yoko Hirota, Katherine Dowling, Sara Davis Beuchner, and David Syme.
Santoro completed her Honours Bachelor of Music with Distinction from the University of Windsor where she pursued advanced piano studies under Dr. E. Gregory Butler. Inspired to cultivate her interests in Music History and Music Theory, Santoro attended Wayne State University and earned a Master of Arts in Music. Her graduate research focuses on the pedagogical piano music of Canadian composer, Alexina Louie.
